COLLIN RAYE GIVES
POWERFUL PERFORMANCE WITH A MESSAGE OF COURAGE AND HOPE WITH NEW
VIDEO,
QUITTERS
New Video To Debut on CMT Pure Country On Friday, February 29th
Nashville,
TN (February ?, 2008) ----- One of Country music’s top male
vocalists, Collin Raye, again spotlights his humanitarian side with
the video for his current single, “Quitters.” The video was
produced by Matthew McLelland from Amenat-Creative Production Post
in Utah. The song is from the Raye’s current CD, Selected
Hits, which is the 13th album of his career.
The video will debut on CMT Pure Country this Friday, February
29th, which is the network’s new digital channel.
The video captures
a powerful performance from Raye who plays guitar on the song and
also spotlights Brandon Sulser, who is a quadriplegic and currently
a motivational speaker. Sulser is a great role model for “Quitters”
that spotlights anyone who has the courage to overcome adversity and
Sulser certainly has done that in his lifetime. He was seriously
injured in a biking accident when he was twelve-years-old that
required cranial surgery, which resulted in him having to re-learn
many basic skills. By high school Susler had overcome his
disabilities and could bench over 300 pounds. Then tragedy struck
again when a diving accident broke Sulser’s neck and he became
paralyzed. Again, this did not stop him as he is currently earning
his Masters degree in Social work so he can help others.
The video also has
a personal story for Raye as his two granddaughters, Maddie & Haley,
are featured at the end of the video. Haley was born with a
degenerative brain disorder and Raye is in the process of creating a
charity called Haley’s Helpers to provide an outlet of support to
other children with similar health conditions
Raye’s has an illustrious video career with
fifteen #1 video hits that include “Little Rock”
(CMA Best Video Nominee, CMT Top 100
Videos Of All Time), “Not That Different” (CMT Top 100 Videos Of All
Time), “I Think About You” (ACM Best Video Winner, CMT Top 100
Videos Of All Time), “Love Me,” (CMT Top 100 Videos Of All Time), to
name just a few. Raye’s My Space page has him ranked at #4 in the
Indie Artist category and there have been close to 400,000 downloads
of the song, “Quitters.”
